Parent organisations play an important part in implementing the European Standards of Care for Newborn Health that were launched a year ago. This is why EFCNI organises workshops for representatives of parent organisations on a regular basis, deepening their knowledge of the standards.
This weekend EFCNI was happy to welcome attendees from 10 countries in Munich for an interactive training. The participants each presented, what they have achieved during the last year or their plans for the next year regarding the implementation of the standards on a national and local level. The most important learning was that a collaboration of parents and healthcare professionals will be key for fostering the implementation of the standards.
