Implementation

< Back to Home

With the launch of the European Standards of Care for Newborn Health (ESCNH) in Brussels in November 2018, the implementation process has officially started. Since 2018, EFCNI has continuously supported healthcare societies, parent organisations, individual institutions, and organisations in putting the ESCNH into practice across Europe. For a sustainable change of newborn health practices and structures in line with the ESCNH, various steps are undertaken to facilitate and accelerate their implementation.

More information on the Call to Action for Newborn Health in Europe, the lighthouse projects, the toolkit and the 11 Months – 11 Topics campaign can be found below.

We hope that in the future all relevant stakeholders will join forces and work together on the implementation of the ESCNH in order to ensure the best start in life for all babies across Europe and beyond.
