In 2018, the first set of the European Standards of Care for Newborn Health (ESCNH) was published and officially launched in Brussels. Despite being a comprehensive set of standards grouped in eleven overarching topics, the ESCNH are not fully finalised but rather should be regarded as a living document, which is regularly updated and expanded/shortened, if needed.
More details on the regular revision of the ESCNH and the development of new standards can be found below.
If you are interested in becoming an independent reviewer for the current/future revisions of the European Standards of Care for Newborn Health or if are interested in developing new standards, you can send us an email to standards@efcni.org.
